Notes and Explanations

1. Often, when we leave someone, we can say "Lovely to see you". Then the other person can say "Lets stay in touch" to say goodbye.

2. We can say "It's been ages" when we meet someone we haven't seen in a long time.

3. We can say "Same here" when we want to say that a situation is the same for us. (If you want to agree with a negative statement like "I don't have time", the agreement is either "Same here" or "Neither do I" - not "So do I".)

4. We can abbreviate "I look forward to it" to "Look forward to it".
